The 2025 Junior Pan American Games will take place August 9 to 23 in Asunción, Paraguay and will feature athletes from the Junior U.S. Men's and Women's National Teams. Although it is the second edition of the event, this is the first where the sport of field hockey will be included.

The Junior Pan American Games are a multi-sport event held every four years among youth athletes from all over the American continent. The Games have been organized by PanAm Sports. This event, inspired by the Youth Olympic Games, is exclusively for athletes under 21 years of age, with fewer infrastructure requirements and costs than the Pan American Games.
In the first edition of the games a total of 28 sports were contested, encompassing a total of 40 disciplines. The second edition, in 2025, will feature the participation of more than 4,000 athletes in 42 disciplines, this event not only offers a platform for young athletes but also the opportunity to qualify for the 2027 Pan American Games.
