Taishan Sports Supports 2026 World Wrestling Championships in Astana

The 2026 World Wrestling Championships will take place from October 24 to November 1 at the Barys Arena in Astana, Kazakhstan. The tournament brings together nearly 1,000 athletes from over 100 countries and regions, competing across men’s freestyle, women’s freestyle, and Greco-Roman wrestling. Astana previously hosted the World Championships in 2019 and returns as host for the first time in seven years.

As the Global Supplier of United World Wrestling (UWW), Taishan Sports is the Official Mats Supplier of this Championships, providing professional wrestling mats and event support services for the championships. Taishan’s partnership with UWW dates back years. In 2024, UWW was proud to announce the renewal of its partnership with Taishan in the mats category for the next Olympic cycle. As part of this renewed agreement, Taishan will maintain exclusivity for the senior World Championships, ensuring the continued use of their premium mats for the sport's most prestigious events.

The Taishan Sports service team has arrived in Astana ahead of schedule to complete equipment installation and setup at the competition venue, delivering professional support throughout the event.
