The Asian Judo Championships 2026

The 2026 Asian Judo Championships officially kicked off on April 16 in Ordos, North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region. The premier event, which showcases the highest level of judo in Asia, will run through April 19, bringing together elite athletes from across the continent.


This year’s championships have attracted 288 judokas and coaches from 21 Asian countries and regions, alongside 77 officials and referees. Organized by the Judo Union of Asia, the championships include men’s and women’s individual competitions as well as mixed team contests.
