20th Games of the Small States of Europe 2025

The wait is over--the 20th Games of the Small States of Europe have kicked off in Andorra! From May 26th to 31st, we'll witness five thrilling days of passion, unity, and unforgettable athletic performances.

Small States of Europe Games, these games date back to 1985 when the small states of Europe (those with fewer than one million inhabitants) decided to create them with the aim of involving a larger number of athletes compared to their participation in the Olympic Games. With the assistance of Mr. Samaranch and Olympic Solidarity, these games began to be organized.

Since 1985, these games have been organized every two years. Andorra hosted them in 1991, in 2005, and we will once again be the hosts in 2025.

As of today, 9 countries participate: Andorra, Cyprus, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Montenegro and San Marino. The sport program for the GSSE ANDORRA 2025 is as follows: Athletics, Basketball (3x3/5x5), Cycling (MTB, ROAD, ITT), Gymnastics (Rhythmic, artistic), Judo, Karate, Rugby Seven, Shooting, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tennis and Volleyball (indoor, Beach Volley).
